INOFO proudly joined the first international FFORA event, as the only organic international Farmer Organisations along our like minded friends from 9 regional farmers’ organizations and the World Rural Forum as the other international Farmer Organisation. Collectively representing 95 million family farmers worldwide, we gathered to strategize and unify their voices under the FFCA familyfarmersforclimateaction campaign.
Over four transformative days we gathered to strategize and unify their voices under the amilyfarmersforclimateaction campaign. Our goal as the group of Farmer Organisations? To accelerate access to climate finance for all our members. FFORA is committed to equipping smallholders farmers’ organizations with the tools for investment readiness, empowering them to reshape finance flows to support organic and agroecology and climate resilience, where genuine change takes root.
A crucial highlight was the initiation of constructive dialogue with more than 20 climatefinance stakeholders, spanning both public and private sectors. These discussions fostered fresh ideas, bold visions, and actionable steps toward national and global reforms, ensuring locally driven climatesolutions and organic and agroecology take center stage.
INOFO has actively joined the FFORA meeting in Dar el Salaam with three representatives bringing INOFO members closer to the international efforts of Farmer Organisations to discuss and address together direct finances to the family farmers, with key topics, such as:
